Esther’s been loving

I have just been into town to get mum's hankie for her birthday and there is a little shop that has gorgeous things in and i know the lady well. Anyway i get the hankie and a llittle something and i know to pay by card you have to spend £12 so she adds it up it comes to £10 AND I SAY I WANT TO BLESS YOU PLEASE ROUND IT UP to the £12 . Well she can't cope cause she knows i love loads in the shop and i cpould easily buy something else, so i say if you don't i will go and treat you to a coffee because today i want to do a love act, so i tell her about lovcov.com. So she lets me pay the extra saying how the weather is bad and today it may be slow, but she smiles and says thanks. So only God knows the next part except i thank him for you guys as this causes me to think out of the box and show his love for others.

I went to a charity shop today to buy a book for holiday. Actually, I bought a few. The lady at the till gave me a discount on account of a couple of them being older and it came to £2 something. When I told her I wanted to round it up to £5 she was more than a little surprised. I told her about why I had done it and she was well chuffed and said that it had made her day; it certainly made her smile, which made me smile too. 2 people made happy and I still got a bargain!

On the local news last week there was a story about a family bakers (called Pails) in Chapelfields which is closing down on Friday after 110 years. I decided to pay them a visit for my daily bread. I went to the shop every day last week and by this morning was feeling brave enough to do it. So armed with my card I bought my goods. The reverse haggling didn't work, the lady didn't want to play! But after she gave me the change I gave her it back along with the card (I had written on the back of it "You've been loved"). The lady seemed ever so pleased and she thanked me. My legs were shaking so I couldn't explain much but it was so great to do it. I can't wait to go back tomorrow and see if they have looked on the website. [My extra money went into the Myton Box so its already on its way again to spread the love!]

You've sent in some great stories. Thanks! Keep them coming and we'll keep putting them up on the website.
